The Diving

Many thanks to Captian Shae Markwell, Cruise Director Jim Clark, Dive Instrustor Matt Dann, Dive Instructor Garret Hedrick, Dive Master Lars Nelson, & Engineer Rodelio Tenorio, of the Aggressor Livaboard team for showing us a great week of diving in the British Virgin Islands.

During our stay in the BVI, our week started with way more rain than we would have liked.  This limited our activities while in Tortolla as taking a day boat to Jost Van Dyke would have been a wet and windy mess.  Thankfully we were able to enjoy an outdoor dinner at the Heritage Inn.

By the time we were ready for our first dive off the Aggressor the sun was in abundance and the fun could really begin.  Because of the wind direction, we likely weren’t able to visit the best dive sites available in the BVI, but this didn’t stop us from seeing some amazing reefs, wrecks, and sea life.   When one of the first dives includes eagle rays, you know you are in for a treat.

On Wednesday evening we headed over to Virgin Gorda to visit The Baths National Park.  This was one of the trip highlights as we were able to explore the maze of rock formations and enjoy a spectacular sunset.
