Diving Cozumel | November 16-21 2025
There’s something special about Cozumel that never gets old. Warm water, endless visibility, and drift dives that feel more like flying than swimming. From November 16–21, I spent six days doing exactly that — letting the current carry me across some of Cozumel’s most iconic reefs, one giant stride at a time.
November 16 — Palancar Gardens & Delilah
The trip kicked off at Palancar Gardens, and honestly, it doesn’t get more “welcome to Cozumel” than this. Massive coral buttresses, wide sandy channels, and that effortless drift that lets you slow your breathing and settle in.
The second dive at Delilah kept the momentum going — colorful sponges, relaxed profiles, and plenty of time to dial in buoyancy. A perfect first day: unrushed, vibrant, and exactly what you hope for when you drop into Caribbean water for the first time on a trip.
November 17 — Palancar Bricks & La Francesa
Palancar Bricks delivered its signature terrain — stacked coral formations that feel intentionally designed, with swim-throughs that beg you to slow down and look closely. Light beams, soft corals, and the constant hum of current made this dive feel cinematic.
Then came La Francesa, a reef that always seems to strike a perfect balance: enough structure to explore, enough open space to cruise, and plenty of marine life tucked into every crevice. This was one of those days where you surface already replaying highlights in your head.
November 18 — Casa Blanca & Delilah
At first glance, Casa Blanca doesn’t scream for attention — and that’s exactly why it works. This dive rewarded patience: macro life, small interactions, and the kind of details you only notice when you’re fully relaxed and neutrally buoyant.
Returning to Delilah for dive two felt like revisiting an old friend. Familiar features, different light, new life. It’s amazing how the same site can feel completely different just one day later.
November 19 — Santa Rosa & Cedar Pass
Santa Rosa Wall is iconic for a reason. Towering walls, deep blue water stretching forever, and that feeling of insignificance that only great wall dives can give you. This is Cozumel flexing — bold, beautiful, and unforgettable.
Cedar Pass followed up with a more relaxed profile, perfect for extending bottom time and soaking it all in. A great pairing: adrenaline first, serenity second.
November 20 — Lobo’s Crazy Dive & La Francesa
Lobo’s Crazy Dive lived up to its name. Faster current, dynamic terrain, and that pure joy that comes from letting the ocean do all the work. These are the dives where you feel weightless, alert, and completely in sync with the reef.
A return to La Francesa was the perfect cooldown — graceful drifts, familiar landmarks, and a reminder of why this site keeps earning repeat visits.
November 21 — Palancar Bricks & Delilah
The final day brought us back to Palancar Bricks, and it felt fitting. Same reef, different perspective. By now, everything felt smoother — buoyancy, trim, awareness. That’s the magic of a week of consistent diving.
One last dive at Delilah was the perfect send-off. No rush. No checklist. Just drifting, breathing, and letting the reef leave its final impression.
